Sidebar for some background information: Let's also say that child birth has left you a little stitched up and backed up. Pooping is no longer a right, it's a privilege. When the need strikes, you need to take advantage or BAD THINGS could happen.
SO. What do you do? Is it possible that you might just walk to the bathroom with her still attached to the breast, pull your (thankfully elastic-waist) pants down with one hand while holding the baby to the boob with other, sit down, and poop while your daughter continues to eat lunch?
Just curious.

LOL.
oh, stool softener how I love you. let me count the ways...
It's the only option isn't it? I had to pee something terrible one night and handed Emmi to David so I could make a quick run - oh it ruined the whole feeding. She refused to latch back on and screamed for a while then would only take a bottle. No need to risk this.
this.is.awesome.
I think I'm going to wait until Edie is 16 and then tell her this story.
I swear that no fewer than five women have told me that they had to do this with a new born and I always thought I would in a heartbeat...but this is the first time that I've wondered how many times my mom pooped while breast feeding me...
