Daily Note: August 6, 2009

Do you have anyone in your life that you dislike so strongly that you wish them ill? Then you feel bad for wishing them ill and instead have vivid fantasies of them disappearing into thin air, or getting some fantastic job offer in a foreign land so that they never return and you don’t ever have to see their stupid face again? I do.

Indeed I do. I also have a money-pit-rental-property that I wish would disappear in to thin air. In fact, those were my exact words to Greg just a few days ago!

The other day I was at the grocery store. I just needed to pick up a few things and I was hot and uncomfy and grouchy. And there were people everywhere and they seemed determined to get in my way. So there I am with my basket and my big belly trying to squeeze by all the stupid people when I get stuck behind three stupid girls wearing tight sweat pants that read "SAN DIEGO" across the ass. They are totally blocking the walkway and debating what aisle face soap can be found on. So as I shove past them, after waiting for them to move on, I mutter "Jesus Christ". Apparently one of the girls heard me because she turned around as I brushed by and said "like, oh my God!" MORONS. Get out of my way! I am hot and irritable and pissy and you are all making it worse.

Sorry for this incredibly long comment but I keep meaning to tell you that I have been waiting for you to re-cap your birth class experience. I am expecting some of your usual witty banter about the stupid people you assuredly encountered in that class.

Oh yes. David and I do this often. Sometimes I feel like it takes up more of our time than it should.
