Days 2 and 3 on Orcas were spent reading, beach combing, baking peach-blueberry cobbler, taking a spontaneous boat trip to Friday Harbor for dinner and ice cream (over an hour each way on the boat), blackberry picking, making watermelon cocktails (cocktail hour is very important to Orcas living and we made virgin fancy drinks for Edie each night too).

The two photos of cobbler are great but I really wanted to see this watermelon cocktail! Love all the photos of Edie scampering around Orcas in that little red sun top; makes for a summer memory.
